ANTIQUE GILBERT TRAIL BLAZING ERECTOR SET #8 MAKES ZEPPELIN! Up for sale is an antique Gilbert Trail Blazing Erector Set #8, circa 1929.

This is the set that makes the Zeppelin. I tried to show everything that is in the set.

It certainly looks like it was cared for. The parts are secured on the top tray.

There is age/paint wear on many of the parts as is to be expected. This is a used set. I do not see a parts list and do not have the time to assemble any of the models, so I do not know if it is complete. It does certainly have a lot of parts. The set comes in a wooden box.

There is some damage to the bottom panel on the front right and some corner damage. I tried to show enough photos to give you an idea as to the condition. The hinges are coming loose and the latches do not hold. The very hard to find Zeppelin cover is included, but it does have soiling, repairs, holes and some missing eyelets.
