Here is an antique Regency St George wooden chess set with a really lovely aged patina. It remains complete and in good condition throughout, except for a damaged turret on one of the white rooks. The approximate size of the pieces is as follows. Queen: 5.5 cm; Rook: 3.2 cm; Knight: 4.5 cm; Bishop 4 cm; Pawn: 2.8 cm. The set is complete & comes in an attractive box in good condition and working order with the sliding lid okay. The chess set actually pre-dates the box by some years.
