A SET OF NINE SOLID SILVER DINNER PLATES IN ORIGINAL WOODEN BOX OR CASE. GERMAN in 18th century Georgian style, of shaped outline with circular centre with engraved heraldic crest and motto'DEUS PROVIDEBIT', marked with standard mark 835,'BARCA' and with German crescent moon and crown mark. 3800 grams in weight overall approximately, in silk lined presentation case, each plate 28cm diameter. SIZE OF THE WOODEN BOX IS. 46cm by 31cm by 24cm.
