I'm always prompt to reply. This is a set of double striped Burt balls, highly coveted by antique billiard collectors. The balls were only colored on the surface, so many times when you do see them there is little to no color left.........
Although not perfect by any means, this set still shows well but they are not 2 1/4" but slightly under 2". I've owned and seen a few hundred Albany Billiard Ball Company boxes. This is the ONLY box label of this design I've EVER seen in my 30 years of billiards. Whereas the standard label has 2 crossed cues with a single ball in each of the quadrants, this label depicts crossed cues going through a complete set of 16 boxed balls. The box even has the original cardboard dividers and packing. If there are other rare antique billiard items you may be looking for reach out and if I get a few requests I will concentrate on listing those particular items. I have nameplates, rare chalk, more balls, rare documentation, billiard smalls, etc. If you have any questions contact me.
