As a colouring medium, they are fast and easy to apply the required colours one after the other, without staining the hands. Soft core for good spreading. The soft core allows for even, solid application with a thicker core, or smooth, fine line drawing with a thinner core. The pigments are carefully selected from high-grade pigments and are designed to minimise fading and discolouration due to light. Easy to draw with thick lead and thick shaft. The core is 3.8 mm in diameter and thick, allowing a large area to be filled in at once. The 7.8 mm-diameter shaft is easy to grip and does not tire the hand. Can be used to paint over watercolours, gouache and acrylics. The paintbrush holds well on all types of paper and can be used with watercolours and acrylics. Can be painted in a watercolour style with Merz. If you draw on the screen with coloured pencils in advance and then dissolve and blur the surface with Merz, you can achieve a watercolour style finish.
