OLD HOLLAND : CLASSIC OIL PAINT : 40ML : WOODEN BOX SET OF 34 Hardly used. Old Holland paints were established in 1664 by the old Dutch paint masters.

These paints are still produced using their recipes. These paints are truly the best quality oil paints in my humble opinion with incredible depth and richness of colour.

This lovely set was a Christmas gift from my loving husband last year. I have done 3 small paintings and most of the colours have never been opened. Despite my best efforts, I just never really got into it. As a result, this set has hardly been used. This is such a glorious set of paints and it needs a true artist to set the colours free from the tubes to be enjoyed by all, not hidden away in a cupboard and not be used.

Included are 34 x 40ml paints in the following colours. A6 Old Holland Yellow Light. A361 Old Holland Warm Grey Light. C133 Old Holland Red Gold Lake. C163 Alizarin Crimson Lake Extra.

B37 French Ultramarine Light Extra. B292 Sap Green Lake Extra.

B316 Naples Yellow Deep Extra. A66 Caput Mortum Violet (Mars). C247 Old Holland Cyan Blue. C241 Manganese Blue Deep Extra.

Note the B316 Naples Yellow Deep Extra has a small hole in the tube and a little bit of the oil has seeped out. The paint is still 100% usable. Also included in the set are the following extras. 2 pallet cups - never used. A little bit of paint from when I was using it that dried before I was able to remove it. 250ml Winsor and Newton liquin original. 50 ml C1107 Oil Painting Medium. 50 ml B1102 Turpentine Rectified.

All the paints come in a beautiful, premium quality wooden box. There is additional space in the box to house mediums, accessories and brushes, so the wooden box becomes an ideal store and carrying case for all your oil painting needs. My true wish is that this beautiful set of paints, steeped in centuries of artistic tradition will end up in the hands of the person who can bring these paint to life.
