E S Lowe Hand Carved Chessmen. Made in France, Tournament Weighted Staunton Design, each have a felt pad on the bottom. They have been stored in the original dovetail wood box, with original tissue paper wrap still inside. The storage box measures 9 1/2" X 5 1/2" X 4.

They are in great condition- one of the white pawns has small crack in the wood, one of the black knights loose from the base- it screws on to the base we tightened it and it seems to be fine. This is a beautiful estate sale find. It appears to have been stored for years. King is 3.75" , the pawns are 2". Chess Board is not included- using it only for display and it doe not fit the pieces properly.
