We ask for and hope for your patience. In going through the Trojan Hoard I occasionally find odd things. This is a nice set and board, and we throw in a cigar box to hold the pieces; Kings are about 2 3/4 inches high, 1 inch base diameter. The set is a Lardy from France, made sometime in the 1960s. The board is a Drueke board.

Board is about 15 by 15 inches. Squares are 1 1/2 inches.

One corner of the board is bumped. We add as well a monograph, The Net and the Trident , which is an all-attacking opening repertoire. The plan of play is simple: play for checkmate at KB2 from the first move, whether White or Black, in any opening known to man, angels, computers, or things that go bump in the night.
