Here is a vintage Boxwood Staunton style chess set, made by Jacques, (of London) complete and in very good condition throughout. The Pieces are all weighted and glossed and baized underneath. The approximate size of the pieces is as follows. King: 8.5 cm (3 & 3/4).

Queen: 7 cm; Rook: 4.5 cm; Knight: 5.7 cm; Bishop 6.5 cm; Pawn: 4.4 cm. The set is complete & comes in the original box. Altogether, the Chess set in the box weighs.
