Vintage Weighted French STAUNTON CHESS SET Boxed by Chavet or possibly Lardy

  

Complete in the original wooden box I feel. PLEASE view all the pictures.....

I can find no markings on any of the pieces to indicate who the maker isso it could possibly be Chavet or Lardy. If you are an expert in the Chess field..... Please let me know what you think? It's a beautiful set & so beautifully made. Picture 2 shows the beaded eyes of the Knights.

Each piece has a green felt base. The Black pieces weigh - 428 grams. The White pieces weigh - 436 grams. All pieces & the box weigh 1.1kg. The King is 93mm high. Condition is commensurate with some use. I can see no structural damage to any of the pieces.
