Vintage Wooden Chess Set Complete King 75mm Box Sliding Lid Not Weighted

  

A vintage wooden chess set housed in a box with a sliding lid. The king measures 75mm tall; pawns 42mm.

The chess pieces are not weighted or felted. The wooden box measures 32cm x 10.5cm x 9.8cm. The crenelations of the rooks are in good condition - no chips or losses; some pieces have wear which is in keeping with age and use; the tips of the ears of the knights are worn; black pieces finish dulled from use; some varnish chips to black pieces (2 pawns and king) - last photos show details.
