Wooden Chess Set Walnut Board 20" Weighted Ebonised Staunton Fierce Knight Pieces 3.75". A wooden chess board veneered with inlaid squares.

The darker squares made from Walnut and lighter squares constructed from Maple. This would make a wonderful Chess Board for your Chess Pieces. A very high quality board made in Spain that can provide many years of use. The board accompanied weighted a fantastic set of quality staunton chess pieces in the Fierce Knight design.

This set is crafted from blocks of wood with felt placed on every single piece to prevent any damage to the chess board surface. These Fierce Knight Staunton chess pieces are polished to give a natural finish by very skills craftsmen who design some of the worlds most famous and high quality chessmen and chess sets. Each piece has been finished with great attention to detail.

A Fierce Knight Staunton set is commonly characterised specifically by the knight, with hair almost unique running across the vertebrae, cross checks on the neck and solid indentations on it's chest. A staunched rook and engraved bishop give this unique set it's name.

These chess pieces are heavily weighted to prevent the pieces being knocked over easily. We also include a wonderfully veneered chess piece storage box, made from walnut wood. The storage box is large and compatible enough to store pieces as small as 3 Inch to as large as 4 Inch.
